11th Century Marian Hymn - "Inviolata" - A Latin Translation

Inviolata, integra, et casta es Maria, - Inviolate, whole, and chaste you are Mary, 

quae es effecta fulgida caeli porta.    - you who are having been made the shining gate of Heaven. 

inviolatus, -a, -um - inviolate, unviolated

integer, -gra, -grum - whole, intact, pure

castus, -a, -um - chaste, pure, holy 

quae (nom, sing, fem, relative pronoun) - who 

effecta (perfect passive participle from efficere) - having been made

fulgidus, a, um - shining, gleaming, radiant 

O Mater alma Christi carissima, - O dear mother most beloved of Christ, 

suscipe pia laudum praeconia.     - receive the pious proclamations of praise. 

almus, -a, -um - nourishing, kind, or dear 

carus, -a, -um - (issima) most dear or beloved 

suscipe (suscipere - 2nd person present active imperative) - receive 

pius, -a, -um - pious or holy 

laus, laudis (gen plural) of praises 

praeconium, praeconii - ( praeconia is nom plural) proclamations

Te nunc flagitant devota corda et ora,  - Now our devoted hearts and mouths entreat you, 

nostra ut pura pectora sint et corpora. - So that our hearts and bodies may be pure. 

flagitare - (3rd person present) - they entreat, beseech, demand

cor, cordis (nom plural is corda) - hearts
