Latest Updates and Thoughts: August 18th, 2026 With the start of school I haven't done much extra curricular reading, I have to admit. I have been trying to translate a line a day of The Odyssey from the original Ancient Greek. My goal is to complete a translation of Book I some time within this year, just for my own personal satisfaction. Besides that, I have been just preparing my lectures for my different classes and reviewing those readings and notes to refresh them in my own mind. I am really trying to embody the idea of "mastering the basics" this year. Whether that's making sure I am pronouncing the correct emphasis when saying Greek words, or revisiting the basics of Logic, I really do believe that those who are skilled at their crafts are those who have truly mastered the basic principles.
