September 1st, 2026: My friend Dr. Chris Gustafson has published his book on virtue! I was privileged enough to host some of his early drafts of the book on this site, and am very happy to see that's it's completed. I have been trying to translate a line a day of The Odyssey from the original Ancient Greek. My goal is to complete a translation of Book I some time within this year, just for my own personal satisfaction. Besides that, I have been just preparing my lectures for my different classes and reviewing those readings and notes to refresh them in my own mind. I am really trying to embody the idea of "mastering the basics"...
