There is not peace in Gall because Caesar is in Gall with soldiers.

There are roads in the province.
4) Populus ducem militum propter virtutem laudat.
The people praise the leader of the soldiers on account of virtue.
5) Romani vias in provincia muniverunt.
The Romans constructed roads in the province.
6) Est pax in Caelo.
There is peace in Heaven.
7) Sunt Christiani in Caelo.
There are Christians in Heaven.
8) In pace et in bello Christiani orant.
Christians pray in peace and in war.

There are soldiers on the road.

Caesar gave rewards of virtue to the soldiers because they conquered the Gauls.

1) The leaders of the Romans conquered the enemies on the hill.

Exercise 52
1) You are Brothers - Christ is the king of men but is the brother of men, Therefore men are brothers. Therefore war is the slaughter of brothers. Therefore God and Christ do not praise war.
Christus est rex hominum sed est frater hominum, et Deus est rex hominum sed est pater hominum. Itaque homines sunt fratres. Itaque bellum est caedes fratrum. Itaque Deus et Christus bellum non laudant.
2) The Slaughter of the Gauls - The Romans killed part of the leading men of the Gauls. Therefore God heard the shout of the mothers and brothers in the forests and mountains of Gaul.
Romani partem principum Gallorum occiderun. Itaque Deus clamorem matrum et patrum et fratrum in silvis et montibus Galliae audivit.
3) In Gaul - In Gaul there are forests and mountains and hills. There are towns on the hills, but part of the people of the Gauls inhabit the mountains and forests.
In Gallia sunt silvae et montes et colles. Sunt oppida in collibus, sed pars gentium Gallorum montes et silvas incolunt.
4) Christ, Leader of Men - Christ is the leader of men because he gave truth and law and light to men. Christ is the Way and the Truth.
Christus est dux hominum quod veritatem et legem et lucem hominibus dedit. Christus est "Via" et "Veritats".
5) Mary is the mother of Christ. But Christ is God because he is the Son of God the Father. Therefore Mary is Mother of God. Christians praise Mary, the Mother of God. Mary is mother of men because Christ gave Man to men on the cross. Therefore Christians are the sons and servants of Mary. Mary is the Gate of Heaven.
Maria est Mater Christi. Sed Christus est Deus quod Filius Dei Patris est. Itaque Maria est Mater Dei. Mariam, Matrem Dei, Christiani laudant. Maria est mater hominum quod Christus in cruce Marian hominibus dedit. Itaque Christiani sunt filii et servi Mariae. Maria est Porta Caeli.
Exercise 59
1) Y'all are the light of the world.
2) On account of the salvation of men Christ was in the world.
3) Christ gave light and law and salvation and truth to men.
4) Caesar, commander of the Romans, was with the soldiers in Gaul.
5) Christ is the salvation of the world.
6) The servants praise the name of the king.
7) The column of enemies was on the mountains.
8) On account of the slaughter of the leading men there was not peace.
9) On account of the wounds of the soldiers they were not on the march.
10) God, father of men, praises virtue but war and slaughter he does not praise.
11) The leader heard the voices of the servants and the shout of the soldiers.
12) After the war the bodies were on the hills and in the rivers, and the commander heard the shout of the mothers.
13) Christians are brothers of Christ and soldiers of Christ.
14) The Romans slaughtered part of the leading men of the Gauls.
15) Tribes and peoples of Gaul do not praise the empire of the Romans.
