"The lady has a hen. The hen lays an egg once during the day. Since the lady hastens to have more eggs, she commands the maid servants to throw more feed to the chicken. Even she commands the chicken, 'It is time to lay more eggs. Twice during the day, o chicken, lay an egg.' When the maid servants hear the lady, out of the beds they hasten and throw more feed to the chicken. The feed harms the chicken. Not even once a day does it lay eggs. Since you hasten, o lady, to have eggs, harm not the chicken."
