Greek Translation - Aesop's Fable 190 - "Asinine Behavior" - Taken "From Alpha to Omega" by Anne Groton
Translation:
"A donkey is a slave to a gardener. Since he has many pains from work, he prays to the immortals; The master is wicked. No longer do I want to serve the gardener. The gods command the donkey to be a slave to a potter. But again when still the donkey is not free of pains he prays to the deathless ones. The gods send the donkey to a tanner. The donkey, when he sees the work of the master, he misses the first master. You are not sent, O slaves, to change masters."
