How to Destroy a Country in Four Easy Steps

My brother recently showed me an interview, somehow still available on 

YouTube (https://youtu.be/jMnhSBySKto) with a former KGB officer, Yuri Benzemov, who worked in India waging a propaganda and subversion campaign in the 1960's and early 1970's. Having come to a realization of how evil the Soviet Union was and how it was destroying India, a country he had come to love, he defected into US hands. This video is an interview from 1984 as he describes his defection, and the "weapons of war" that the Soviet Union wields without ever firing a bullet. 

The term that Yuri uses is, "ideological subversion," or "active measures." It's a Soviet tactic of "brainwashing," or manipulating public perception and thinking, which is done through legitimate channels in a society and is out in the open and overt. He claims that 85% of their work falls into this category, while only 15% would be considered covert espionage work. In his own words he says, 

[To] change the perception of reality of every American to such an extent that despite an abundance of information that no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their communities, and their country. It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages.

Step One - "Demoralization" 

The first step involves the indoctrination of a generation and thus takes about 15 - 20 years, according to Benzemov. If you can fill the minds of the young with Marxist/Leninist ideology in such a way that they are not challenged or given counterbalancing view points, you have an indoctrinated population who will, having matured, take power within "government, civil service, mass media, business, and the education system." At that point they cannot be changed from their mentality. It doesn't matter what is told to them, or what evidence is shown them, the indoctrination is complete. 

You are stuck with them. They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern. You cannot change their minds even if you expose them to authentic information. Even if you prove that white is white and that black is black you still cannot change the basic perception and logical behavior. In other words, [for] these people, the process of demoralization is compete and irreversible.

If there are some of these people who come to see the fruits of their labor and how evil it is, there is no need to worry, they will be labeled as "dissenters and dissidents" and "will be simply squashed like cockroaches." 

In Benzemov's opinion (in 1984 remember!) is that this first stage of the process has already been completed in the United States and has even exceeded the expectations of that the Soviets thought possible. In his words, the "useful idiots" have been created, and they themselves will enact the ideology upon other Americans without the Soviets having to do anything. These useful idiots are so thoroughly indoctrinated into the ideology that nothing will break it until they themselves are cannibalized by their own and the "military boot crashes them." 

Most of it is done by Americans to Americans because a lack of moral standards. As I said before, being exposed to true information does not matter anymore because a person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him. Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents or pictures. Even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union and show him concentration camps he will refuse to believe it until he is going to receive a kick in his fat bottom. ... Basically America is stuck with demoralization.

Step Two - "Destabilization" 

Once the useful idiots have been weaponized and deployed into society and take their places at all levels of government and culture, then the destabilization of a nation can occur. They can begin to make changes and policies regarding the economy, regarding foreign relations, and regarding defense and military policies that will be favorable to Marxism/Leninism. This process only needs about two to five years to begin to take its effects. 

Step Three - "Crisis"

After new laws and policies have been implemented slowly, then the country is now teetering and ready for a major change. A crisis can be generated in the country which may call for, or result in, a violent change. This could be a change of power structures, government, and/or economy. Benzemov says that a crisis can be manufactured in as short a time as six weeks. The response to the crisis is the important part, as it can obviously be used to justify the massive and radical change in the political or economic system. What started in the academy was then filtered to an indoctrinated generation, who began to take positions of power and make incremental changes, which is followed by a crisis as an excuse to then made sudden and radical changes to resolve the crisis. The next step is to normalize the resolution. 

Step Four - "Normalization" 

Now that the changes have been made, they have to be cemented in place through tactics of "normalization." 

This is what will happen to the United States if you allow all these shmucks to bring the country to crisis, to promise people all types of goodies and the paradise of earth, to destabilize your economy and eliminate the principle of free market competition and to put big brother government in Washington DC with a benevolent dictator... who will promise lots of things. Neverminded were those promises are fulfilled or not. Most of the American politicians, media, and educational system trains another generation of people who think they are living in a peace time. False. US is in a state of war. Undeclared state of total war against the basic principles and foundations of this system. The initiator is not comrade Ondropov, of course, its the system, however ridiculous it may sound. The world communist system or conspiracy. You have literally have several years to live on unless the US wakes up. a time bomb is ticking and every second the disaster is coming closer and closer.

 How Do We Save America?

Benzemov gives two pieces of advice on saving America, who he sees as the last stronghold of freedom in the world. First, he says that we must educate people and explain the real danger of Communism and Socialism. If people do not grasp the danger of what's going on around them, of the reality that freedom will vanish overnight; if they do not grasp that we are in a type of war, then there is no hope to stop this. Second, he says that we must stop doing business with the Communists, or we are "selling them the very rope we will hang on." He says that we must force the government not to make deals or interact with the Communists. We must stop the greed of certain Capitalist companies from selling themselves to the Communists for just a little extra profit. 

He concludes by reminding us that espionage is not like the James Bond movies, it's something much more open and powerful than that, and if something is not done then America will be lost.
